Book recomendation

"The dead zone" by Stephen King is one of my favorite books around. The book just hooks your from the first page and it will not let you go down to the last letter. The story line is intriguing, the setting is one of the most interesting periods in USA history and the characters are created marvelously. These are the reasons why this books is worth recommending.
To begin with, this book introduced me to a story line that I have never seen before. It is basically like a typical roller-coaster ride, at the beginning you feel a bit tense, then you start swinging around, around the corners there are steep hills and shallow slopes and sometimes you don't even know what to anticipate. This perfectly describes the story of the book. You never know what will happen, because Stephen King is the kind of writer which can make you addicted to a book. Once you start reading it you think about it at work, at class or even washing the dishes. This is exactly what happened to me. I could not have forgotten the book up until I ended it.
Furthermore, the setting is very interesting both for a history lover and for an american culture freak. Throughout the book there is just so much information and tiny bits of stories that happened during that period of time that it certainly forces the reader to continue on going into the history of that certain historical period. All I can say that the story is very heavy of american content. Throughout the whole book names like "coca-cola", "Vietnam" and "Dr. Pepper" are repeated numerous times. And it's not just these particular names. The names of famous political figures and superstars are also mentioned a lot. Places in which the story will take place are fictional, but american, down to their roots, towns with old american folks and houses with people dreaming an american dream in them.
Finally, the characters are the driving force of the story. And the amount of that force is huge. There are a lot of character and each one of them are created with, I must admit, a touch of genius. I don't want to say much about the characters but there is one thing that is worth mentioning about the protagonist: he is an English teacher. And the synthesis of extra-terrestrials and an English teacher gives an amazing result, because the the reader starts thinking:"If this particular fellow can get extra-terrestrial powers...So can I !". There are various types of relationships between the characters, like love stories, arguments and even scrimmages but they all feel needed in the book. From the side of characters the book is perfect.
To sum everything up "The dead zone" is a book that every horror fan must read. It is not as frightening as the more popular creation of Stephen King called "The shining" but this book is much more than worth reading. The story is phenomenal, the characters are vivid and the setting is just marvelous. Of course there is more than that, but with only these three aspects mentioned the book is already close to perfection.

Reasons of emigration

Nowadays emigration is a process which is happening everywhere. The main reason for that is globalization, of course, but there are actually more reasons than this. The main of them are that other countries can offer better education, better future in job career and also, emigration is a great way to see the world and make new acquaintances.
Firstly, people emigrate abroad not only to find a better job, but also they do so, because they have a need for higher level education. As an example we can take Algeria. It is not a surprise that the level of education is low in that country, because all African countries share a low level of education. And this is one of the main reasons why there are so many immigrants from Africa in almost every European country. Moreover, this is not happening in Africa only. Many students from many countries go abroad because they want to finish a university which is well known in the world, like Cambridge or Oxford. This way opportunities to get a job are highly increased.
Secondly, people emigrate because they find themselves with no job opportunity in their homeland. What is worth mentioning, that this is a big problem in Lithuania. A lot of university students finish their studies in a fully financed place by the government and they instantly go abroad, without even looking for a job in Lithuania. This is because it is really difficult to find a job in Lithuania. It is much easier to find one in United Kingdom or in scandinavian countries. Moreover, there are numerous organisations in Lithuania which are international. That means that if you will get a job offer in this particular company in Lithuania it would not necessarily mean that you will work in Lithuania. It can be Scotland, Portugal, Spain or any other country.
Finally, emigration is a great way to travel. You can't blame a person if he is leaving his country just because he has no further interest in settling in there. Every person is a free person and anyone can go wherever they like. So sometimes it is not a bad thing to emigrate if you can't find what may please you in your home country. Whether it is Algeria or Sweden, a person may not find what he is looking for in his country so that is why a person from Algeria can emigrate to Sweden and vice-versa to find what he needs in his life.
To sum everything up emigration is a big problem in certain countries that have a low level of economy, as much as immigration is a big problem for countries which have a high level of economy. The government is at fault if people are leaving a country to search for a better job or education opportunities, not the people.
