Introductory paragraph

It is not a surprise, that in the 21st century technologies are taking over almost every field in our everyday life. We don't use maps anymore - we have GPS navigations, we don't need to write letters - we have electronic mail and as the time passes we don't need to read books - we have internet for that. For instance nowadays most of the students don't go to libraries, because they have internet. This is why the use of libraries and internet in academic writing have their own pros and cons, however, most of the students choose internet.

My first two weeks in the university

So, my first two weeks in the university went flawlessly. I actually thought that this term will be much easier than the last two terms, because I really like the lectures. What I was surprised about, what šalityra, I thought that this subject will be boring, but actually it is a lot of fun learning both - UK's and USA's history, culture and things related to them. In addition, I'd like to say that I am really happy that I started the second year of my studies without any academical debts. So to sum everything up - everything is so far so good. I don't know why but I am feeling really motivated to study this year. I hope I will keep it that way.

Film review "Cars 2

"Pixar" movies always were my favourite ones. The reason for that is simple - deep and intriguing ideas are hidden in the shell of fantasy and state of the art computer graphics. I also admire "Pixar" for their hardwork, because they make their movies for both - adults and youngsters. While youngsters are enjoying fabolous view (now even in 3D) adults can watch a movie and contemplate about the developing situation. Incredible graphics, one of a kind characters and unforgettable plot makes this movie one of my favourites.
Firstly, I bow to the ground facing the modelers and the people responsible for the visual part of the movie. It is absolutely incredible. During the whole movie I was stunned by the scenery. The plot takes place in real-world places like Tokyo, Italy and London but all of them have a little twist from the creators. Lighting, shadows, reflection and blurs - these are the details that make the whole movie look photorealistic, especeally in 3D.
Secondly, the characters are very interesting and vivid. Every single one of them have their own twists and are very different. The whole plot is based on the friendship of two friends: racer Lighting McQueen and all rusted Mater. There are a lot of other characters, which are not important but they are voiced by the well known people in the world. For instance the character in the image above the paragraph is voiced by the well known Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton. Such well known stars like Owen Wilson and Michael Cain also participated in the voicing.
Finally, as I mentioned before, the plot can be interpreted in different ways and the whole movie is for both - adults and youngsters. Nowadays it is rare that when you watch a movie you can enjoy the storyline and the scenery, visual effects. But this movie is an exception. All of the "Pixar" movies have this trait, that they are intriguing and very admirable to watch at the same time. I wont say much about the plot in order not to spoil the story, but all I can say is that it is based on friendship between two very different characters.
To sum everything up this movie is a must-see. If you havent seen this movie - immediately grab your little brother sister or daugter and son and go to a shop to buy this movie. This movie is one of the most advanced in the sphere of visual technologies and the plot makes this piece of art an unforgettable experience.

The art of cheating

Firstly, cheating is the kind of thing that most of the people went through during their schoolyear. If someone had not cheated during a simple test or an exam - he is simply not worth to be called a real student. Of course the main cause for cheating is the unbearable wish to get good grades and go into a good college. It is not a secret that if you want to go into a popular college or a university, one has to have good grades. Of course, it is a nervewracking thing, when you are writing something and at the same time avoiding attention from the teachers but if you succeed it is worth it.
Secondly, another big cause of studying is lasiness. Most students was, are and will be lazy throughout the time of studying. It is a total disaster to stay inside and to study mathematic algorythms instead of going outside to take a swim in the lake or play some football with your mates. And if someone chooses fun over studying cheating is the best way to keep your mood and grades high. Instead of sitting late the night before the test it is much more convenient to spend a half of hour making a proper tiny paper with the information one needs for the test.
Finally, if a person is lazy there is a big probability that he is dishonest. Which is why cheating can look like a casual thing for them. Almost all of my classmates used to cheat during various tests and they havent felt bad for it because cheating is popular and is much easier than studying half a day every week. Moreover, cheating may sometimes be even more useful than studying, because you when someone is cheating, he or her usually has a paper with the most important information. When creating this paper one usually does a summary of the subject he needs which is a much faster way than studying.
To sum everything up cheating is the kind of thing which ones may like but others may dislike, nevertheless every single human being cheated when he was doing something. In my opinion cheating is vital during the schoolyear because one does not simply harmonize studying and fun.

What does it mean to be a good teacher

You know that there are a lot of people who want to be teachers. If you are planning to become a teacher you have to think a lot before doing this. It is not so easy to teach in school. You have to feel a passion for teaching, have alot of good qualities, have to be well prepared for various subjects and to know a lot of things about the subject on which you are going to teach.

Firstly, a real teacher is a person who feels a passion for teaching. If you want to be a perfect teacher you have to love your job. If you adore your job then you will love everything what is concerned with it: the learning process, the spreading of knowledge and acquiring even more of it while teaching. I am sure that good teachers love their pupils and they behave with them very well.

Secondly, teachers must have good qualities. They have to be self-confident, curious and creative. If a teacher is not self confident, he or she is going to deliver lectures or lessons of bad quality. If you are teaching someone you have to be self-confident in yourself and in your knowledge. Besides, teachers have to be interested in their pupil‘s interests. This way it will be easier to communicate with pupils, because you will know theire interests. To add up communication between teacher and children is very important. Without communication teaching and learning process is simply impossible. Moreover, teachers have to keep in touch with their pupils when the classes are over.

Finally, it is not a secret that teachers have to be well prepared with their subjects. When people want to become teachers they have to know the theorethical side of their subject perfectly, because not knowing the theory prevents you from delivering it to pupils. Moreover teachers have to explain everything what pupils are asking, because it is the teachers top priority to explain everything that is not clear for the students. This is one of the most important points in being a good teacher.

In conclusion I would like to say that the most important thing before becoming a teacher is to think a lot before making this decision. If you are a teacher already, you do not have to forget that teaching requires a lot of things to be done. A real teacher is a person who has a lot of good qualities. Also, teacher has to adore his job. All teachers have to be very intelligent and self-confidence. Without these qualities they will not be real teachers.

Book recomendation

"The dead zone" by Stephen King is one of my favorite books around. The book just hooks your from the first page and it will not let you go down to the last letter. The story line is intriguing, the setting is one of the most interesting periods in USA history and the characters are created marvelously. These are the reasons why this books is worth recommending.
To begin with, this book introduced me to a story line that I have never seen before. It is basically like a typical roller-coaster ride, at the beginning you feel a bit tense, then you start swinging around, around the corners there are steep hills and shallow slopes and sometimes you don't even know what to anticipate. This perfectly describes the story of the book. You never know what will happen, because Stephen King is the kind of writer which can make you addicted to a book. Once you start reading it you think about it at work, at class or even washing the dishes. This is exactly what happened to me. I could not have forgotten the book up until I ended it.
Furthermore, the setting is very interesting both for a history lover and for an american culture freak. Throughout the book there is just so much information and tiny bits of stories that happened during that period of time that it certainly forces the reader to continue on going into the history of that certain historical period. All I can say that the story is very heavy of american content. Throughout the whole book names like "coca-cola", "Vietnam" and "Dr. Pepper" are repeated numerous times. And it's not just these particular names. The names of famous political figures and superstars are also mentioned a lot. Places in which the story will take place are fictional, but american, down to their roots, towns with old american folks and houses with people dreaming an american dream in them.
Finally, the characters are the driving force of the story. And the amount of that force is huge. There are a lot of character and each one of them are created with, I must admit, a touch of genius. I don't want to say much about the characters but there is one thing that is worth mentioning about the protagonist: he is an English teacher. And the synthesis of extra-terrestrials and an English teacher gives an amazing result, because the the reader starts thinking:"If this particular fellow can get extra-terrestrial powers...So can I !". There are various types of relationships between the characters, like love stories, arguments and even scrimmages but they all feel needed in the book. From the side of characters the book is perfect.
To sum everything up "The dead zone" is a book that every horror fan must read. It is not as frightening as the more popular creation of Stephen King called "The shining" but this book is much more than worth reading. The story is phenomenal, the characters are vivid and the setting is just marvelous. Of course there is more than that, but with only these three aspects mentioned the book is already close to perfection.

Reasons of emigration

Nowadays emigration is a process which is happening everywhere. The main reason for that is globalization, of course, but there are actually more reasons than this. The main of them are that other countries can offer better education, better future in job career and also, emigration is a great way to see the world and make new acquaintances.
Firstly, people emigrate abroad not only to find a better job, but also they do so, because they have a need for higher level education. As an example we can take Algeria. It is not a surprise that the level of education is low in that country, because all African countries share a low level of education. And this is one of the main reasons why there are so many immigrants from Africa in almost every European country. Moreover, this is not happening in Africa only. Many students from many countries go abroad because they want to finish a university which is well known in the world, like Cambridge or Oxford. This way opportunities to get a job are highly increased.
Secondly, people emigrate because they find themselves with no job opportunity in their homeland. What is worth mentioning, that this is a big problem in Lithuania. A lot of university students finish their studies in a fully financed place by the government and they instantly go abroad, without even looking for a job in Lithuania. This is because it is really difficult to find a job in Lithuania. It is much easier to find one in United Kingdom or in scandinavian countries. Moreover, there are numerous organisations in Lithuania which are international. That means that if you will get a job offer in this particular company in Lithuania it would not necessarily mean that you will work in Lithuania. It can be Scotland, Portugal, Spain or any other country.
Finally, emigration is a great way to travel. You can't blame a person if he is leaving his country just because he has no further interest in settling in there. Every person is a free person and anyone can go wherever they like. So sometimes it is not a bad thing to emigrate if you can't find what may please you in your home country. Whether it is Algeria or Sweden, a person may not find what he is looking for in his country so that is why a person from Algeria can emigrate to Sweden and vice-versa to find what he needs in his life.
To sum everything up emigration is a big problem in certain countries that have a low level of economy, as much as immigration is a big problem for countries which have a high level of economy. The government is at fault if people are leaving a country to search for a better job or education opportunities, not the people.
